Room decorations

Room decorations is a dated log of decorating in each room — paint, floors, and fixtures — not a photo inventory or check-in report.

1. What they track

Each property has its own room list. Open a room to see when it was last decorated and to add the next record.

In the app

  3. Room Decorations
  • On an HMO, decorations belong to that room’s property. They are not copied from the primary room the way insurance or EPC can be.

2. Add rooms and records

Add the rooms first, then add a decoration record when work is done.

  • A record needs what was done and the date. You can also note who organised it, wall and ceiling colour and brand, floor type, light fittings, joinery, and door notes.
  • Later work is an amendment, not an overwrite of the last log. New dates cannot be earlier than the latest record.
